I parked in the shade of the bridge … there really is a Trol under the bridge !
There are a myriad of mining tracks running off in all directions to the well heads so it takes some effort to keep on the right track.
The dust from the Roadtrains makes it advisable to stop and wait untill they go past.
Eventually I came out at Moomba and headed down the Strzelecki Track to the Merty Merty turn off where I turned left for Cameron Corner.
There is not a lot to see apart from a couple of cattle yards which is just as well as the road often turns as it crests a rise.
I made it to Cameron Corner somehow and celebrated with some pics and a Ginger Beer .. starting to really like this stuff.
I passed through the border gate and ran the gauntlet of hundreds of Roos as I wanted to get fuel at Tibooburra as well as a pub meal and a Ginger Beer.
Had to lock up the brakes several times with some near misses but made it through unscathed and refuelled just as they were closing, at least I will be able to hit the road early in the morning now.
