We regretfully packed up and left our awesome campsite then stopped in at Biella Springs for a look at the artwork, then stopped at Canning Cairn before making our way to Well 16.

The track became quite rocky for a short while then the dunes were back with long sections of flat corrugated track as we made for Rankins Trolley.

Murray Rankin had tried to push the trolley up the track but the sand got into the bearings of the push bike wheels so he ended up abandoning it beside the track.

Well 15 was a restored well but we found a dead Rat sized animal stuck in the side of the well under water so we gave that one a miss and continued on passing an abandoned trailer a short time later.

A small hill full of caves gave us a great view over the surrounding flat country then we moved on to Well 14 which also had a small memorial for Kevin Weckert who died of a heart attack near there in 2003.

Well 13 was hidden among the tall grass in the middle of a small forest of trees making it a bit hard to find and we ended up rejoining the CSR via a different track which came out near a burnt out Landrover.

Cmon ... it was only a Landrover

We collected some wood and made our way to Well 12 which had been restored and had a toilet as well so we set up camp and relaxed for the rest of the afternoon.
