Passmore Reserve 28-10-21

Cant waste a long weekend so straight after work on thursday i headed down to near Clifton and set up camp at Passmore Reserve. Fires allowed, dogs allowed, 1 bar of 3G and occasionally 1 bar of 4G. no toilets but has bins and sheltered tables in one area.
Had the place to myself until friday night which was a bonus.

Had quite a storm on the way down and rain was forecast all weekend so i set up an awning and stacked the firewood under a blue tarp just before the rain hit.

Due to the wind i had put in a couple of extra ropes which was straddling the fire place so i had to move back a meter or so then shovelled out the BBQ and cleaned up the plates so i could use it.

had a wander around the reserve in between rain showers.

due to the rain i managed to get dry and comfortable and processed a whole heap of pics from my last big trip up north

Saturday morning dawned quite foggy after the overnight rain.











The weather was nice so i took the canoe for a paddle ... probably around 1 Km was navigable.

Weather was looking ominous again so fired up the BBQ a bit early to get her done!

I had a wander around while drying off the tarp and awning then i headed for home.
