Travelled up over the ranges towards Eildon Weir and pulled up at Chaffe Creek Camping area ... cooked up a feed and relaxed.
it was still daylight when i fell asleep and missed New Years Eve altogether !!

Wednesday 1-1-2020: HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

When I awoke I figured I had napped for a short time but the sun direction was all wrong and realised I had missed New Years Eve altogether ... doh !!

I packed my gear and headed off down Big River Road and it wasn't long before i spotted the first views of the Eildon Weir.



I had a look around Eildon before heading round to see some relies as it was still quite early.







I dropped in for a coffee and a chat before hitting the road again taking the Skyline track out of Eildon.

i drove on past "The Rock" township and ended up camping at a park in Bathurst.

Thursday 2-1-20
Of course i had to have an early blat around Bathurst, first lap to check for cops then see if i can beat 10 minutes for the second lap

I headed North taking in the sights along the way. It was very hot and dry.

I stopped at the Barraba silos for a look at the artwork.

I scooted out to the limestone caves near Ashford before heading home ... was an awesome trip away
