South down the east coast from Cairns 1-10-22

Saturday 8-10-22:
Drove down to Bunderburg and did a bit more shopping, Gone over the top now… bought a 70 mm high density foam mattress (yellow) and chucked it under the swag ... should have done it years ago.



Drove down to Kinkuna and found all the puddles are now dried out so had an easy run in and set up camp on the beachfront.

Sunday 9-10-22:
Woke to a pretty spectacular sunrise then after lunch Jeff arrived so we sat around and caught up.

Monday 10-10-22:
Weather was lousy so relaxed around camp for the day.

Tuesday 11-10-22:
nipped into town for some shopping and visited a mate then headed back out, passed over a green tree snake and stopped to get a pic but all i got was his trail. Towed a woman and her kids out of a sand bog then drove back up the beach to camp. grabbed a couple of moon shots after dinner.

Wednesday 12-10-22:
Brett rocked up and set up his camp then we relaxed around camp for the day until it was time for the campfire while watching a passing rain cloud and cooking Nachos in a bowl in the camp oven.

Thursday 13-10-22:
another Beaut morning at Kinkuna with Jeff and Brett topped off by a Lamb Roast on the campfire.

Friday 14-10-22:
Another day around camp enjoying the beach.
got a couple of moon shots in when i woke up before midnight.

Saturday 15-10-22:
Had a nice sunrise for our last day camped here.



Then hit the highway for a few hours to arrive at home a bit after lunch.

time for some modifications and maintenance before hitting the road again.
