It was a wet an miserable day when i deflated the tyres, chucked the old girl into 4WD and headed East along the beach skirting the quicksand sections
to reach the SA /Vic border on the beach.

Of course it rained harder when i got back off the beach and went to pump the tyres back up... i then headed to the nearest Volcano for a look.

I nipped over to Gouldens Sinkhole and got in before a dive group descended to the platform to begin their prep.

I drove over and checked out Little Blue Lake.

next up was "Sisters Sinkhole" which was two sinkholes right beside each other.

I drove into Mt Gambier, grabbed some KFC and headed over to Umpherston Sinkhole to enjoy them both.

then drove over to Leg of Mutton Lake / Blue Lake car for some pics.

Heading South again i stopped at Allendale East Cave for a look ... its in the middle of the road between the Northbound and Southbound lanes.
