Before the Night tour I was so impressed with the staff that i walked up to Mark and showed him what i wrote earlier that day on facebook ... this was after he gave a talk to the crowd on the night tour and apologised for the lack of staff numbers ... you wouldn't know it as there was no big wait times and staff wasn't flustered, they were all happy and friendly ... so i walked up and told him he should pass on my compliments to the staff ... He even mentioned it during his talk later at the light/music show.

"Must say that the staff here are the friendliest, brightest and happiest of anywhere i have ever been … the Owner Mark did a few tours while i was wandering all over the place taking pics and he was the same … i eventually did a tour with another guide mainly because there were not as many people in it. You can stay at Paronella itself or across from the pub at a newly built place ( probably better for caravans) … i stayed at Paronella in probably the worst spot in the park and even that was pretty good ( comes with admission price) there is hot showers and laundry (4x $1 coins) with power and water at each site.
The park itself was very interesting and the bloke that built it was very inventive and way ahead of his time in hydro power, microwave, refrigeration, mirror balls, tree planting etcetcetc great day and will be staying around for the night tour"

Friday 22-7-22
I enjoyed another hot shower then hit the road north passing through South Johnstone which has a train line in the main street.

I drove through Innisfail to Croquet Point for a look but not much there and headed back and spotted two Cassowaries across the road from each other up near some houses.

I drove back to town and did some shopping then drove out to the Coconut Rowing Club and settled down to process the Paronella pics with a gentle breeze and a great view.

I drove out to Flying Fish Point then up to Ella Bay for a look before picking up some fish and chips and settling down for the night back at Coconut ... had a rowdy crowd turn up drinking and shouting and arguing half the night but they didn't bother me at all.
