I headed out towards the Tower .

Love the bright red rock .

Getting to be a bit of a mission to get out to the tower ... lots of narrower and steeper stuff than this.

Finally i got to turn the corner and discovered something not marked on the map.
As i got closer it got even better.

After the steep rocky wall traversing to get here i decided to find a way up the cliff and follow the top back hoping it would be easier.
Yep, you guessed it ... I found a proper track back to the carpark!!

Quondola Point also wasn't on the map and when i explored it i found a couple of Sea Caves with one of them having a chimney hole in the roof.
Colours were amazing !!

I was soaking wet after all the walking in the rain so headed into Eden and camped at Reflections Holiday Park where they gave me a spot on the Lake Shore ... great spot but i find it a bit weird that there was only two of us in the Unpowered section and they place us back to back.

Was great to catch up on the washing and drying and luxuriate in a nice hot shower.

Friday the 13th ......
Not the Best Day ... started off camped within 2 metres of another camper in a caravan park with no one else in our area and she was a she so i couldn't just water the wheel, had to walk all the way to the Amenities block, had to wait for someone else to come as i forgot the pass code to get it.
I then got out after finding my paperwork to get the access key code to lift the gate.
So i go to an old wooden wharf and find a way in through an open gate that leads me nowhere ... back track and find another way in, get to the wharf and go to take a pic ... lens is all fogged up. sit in the sun until the front and rear lenses clear up ... get a foggy pic, remove the viewfinder adapter and clean everything up, adapter foggy inside, leave off ... try and take a pic, lens foggy inside.
go back to car and get another lens, all good, walk back to wharf, go to take a pic, lens fogs up, clean front and rear lenses and get a pic.
Walk out onto wharf and lens fogs up so for every pic i have to remove lens and clean rear lens.
I tried an alternative track out to East Boyd NP but two bridges were out and i had to head all the way back to the highway.
Road out to East Boyd NP has roadwork and naturally i get stopped for 20 minutes.
Get to road out to Boyd Tower and road is closed but sign says walker access for Tower to Lighthouse walk so i park up and walk all the way out there but cant get to the Tower due to construction going on. try walking around to find a way closer but could not get a glimpse .
Drive out to Green Cape Lighthouse and clay road is wet ... a bit of fun but car is covered in mud so every time i get in or out i get muddy.
Get a few pics but the one i wanted gets spoiled by a cloud/fog bank covering the sky. get back to the car and drive off, cloud lifts.
get some more pics and camp for the night, go to process pics but phone freezes on a check in and cant access facebook.
Try and do it through laptop but not enough signal via hotspot and keep dropping out.
Spot a Lyrebird but its too dark to get a non blurry pic as it keep moving .
Finally ... give up and hope tomorrow is better ... lol 🙂

Old Eden Wharf is fairly rotted now but you can still get on it if your careful.
