30-1-23:
The coastal weather had lost its charm so after picking up a new GPS [to see better] and a new step [that i left behind] and other stuff i decided to head inland.

I passed an old steam boiler on the side of the road and pulled up at Warratah and camped at the caravan park so i could do some washing and showering.

I took a walk down to the old Hydro Electric ruins then up to Ringtail Falls.
climbing to the top of the falls i crossed a broken bridge and climbed back up to the outskirts of Warratah before walking back into town.

Next i walked down to the base of Warratah Falls for a look before heading back to camp.
Found some problems with the Aux battery system and fixed /bypassed it then had to run the car for a couple of hours to put some charge back into the batteries, i'm sure the other patrons didn't mind but i left early next morning ....

1-2-23:

Got up earlyand hit the road to Cradle Mountain but the gates were closed early [closed 8:00 to 18:30 for busses only] but then the clouds, misting rain and freezing wind arrived so i bailed out and headed East past Wilmot Hydro Elect and the Lake Cethania dam below it.
