Heading North from Brisbane 29-6-2022

I headed north stopping at a lookout for a pic then stopping to change a wheel as i had run over something sharp and sliced open the sidewall.
i made it to Cardwell then headed up to Cardwell Lookout and camped the night.

Monday 18-7-22:
Headed off to Attie Creek to look at several falls in a short walk.

A short drive away was Dead Horse Creek.

Next stop was the Cardwell Spa Pool ... stunning colour and since no one else was around i stripped off and jumped in .... and straight back out again ... a bit "Brisk"

I returned to Cardwell for an Iced coffee to help keep my waistline shapely [round is a shape right?] then took a walk out onto the Jetty.













Maybe there will be new owners coming ....

Next turn off to see was Murray Falls.

Next up i headed out to Hull Heads.

Had lunch on the foreshore then walked out to Tully Heads.

I headed south a bit and turned on to Davison road then North Davison Road towards Tully Gorge, i drove a dirt road on the south side of The Tully River towards Tully Gorge … spotted a gap in the trees near a bridge which turned out to be and old creek crossing now bypassed … went in and found a small clearing to camp in and behind that a small waterfall over a rocky shelf into a rockhole … nice spot for a rinse off as it has a little spa … so i cleared the clearing and camped there … the old road does not go past the creek anymore but they have put in an access for a water truck in the past … have named it Gerrish Rockhole on wikicamps … not far from the National Park and only a couple of Kms from Tully Bridge.
