Around Aus week 2, 4-7-24 to 10-7-24

Headed up to Winton and pulled up stumps at The Long Waterhole camping area.

Leaving Winton i drove to the Combo waterhole then drove to Kynuna where i turned off and headed north.

I stopped at Eastern Creek for the night and spotted a very unhealthy Kite, It was still there next morning so i left it some food and left it to Nature.

I checked out some of the sights around Normanton then camped just north of town on the mudflats

I drove out to Karumba for a look around then headed out to Karumba Point and camped on the beachfront.

I watched the sunrise at Karumba and then headed towards the western side of the gulf stopping at Bourke and Wills camp 19 before making camp at Leichardt falls for a few days.

Had another walk over to the falls today to get some more pics.
