Big Red Board

Time to head back down to my secret spot so after work on friday i headed down to Urbenville then on to my spot.
The grass was really long so I drove around for a while to flatten the grass before setting up camp and getting the fire going.


I spent a fair bit of time jumping in for a refreshing swim and checking out the wildlife

While sitting at the campfire with my feet up on a stool reading a book I noticed some movement in my peripheral vision and found a snake less than a metre away and heading straight for me ... gotta tell ya I jumped out of that chair and headed to the car, grabbed my camera and carefully made my way back through the long grass to see what it was ... turned out to be only a Carpet Python and when it saw me coming it headed into the longer grass beside the campfire.

Next morning I decided to head home as iI was pretty sunburnt and it was looking like another sunny day.


There was no covid control at the Qld border so i stopped for a look around.


Thats the height of the mountain to the east, not the road height
