Glastonbury Creek camping area 7-5-21

Post by Big Red »

Headed up to Gympie friday after work then west to Brooyar State Forest and on to Glastonbury Creek camping area.
Nice spot with a small clear creek, short green grass in the valley, fires and dogs allowed and 1 bar of 4G signal.

I put the little Milwaukee to work to cut my firewood short enough to fit in the firepit

there is a 2 odd Km walking track that heads up the hill before dropping back into the valley and following a 4wd track back to camp

by this time it was getting close to dark so headed in to KFC at Gympie for dinner before a nice easy run down the highway to home avoiding the afternoon traffic.
