Post by Big Red »

Headed down to Andrew Dryden Park on friday after work to check out some tunnels i spotted on Google Maps but when i ssaw this spot vacant i wheeled in and grabbed the spot for the weekend.
Dogs are allowed and had a couple of bars of 3G, no toilets but its only a K or two up to Andrew Dryden Park

the curving rail is getting pretty worn out

passed an old telegraph pole on the way back north

Ya gotta be alert as the rail line is used several times a day......

I returned through the tunnel and headed back to camp to relax for the afternoon.

After another night around the campfire i awoke and watched the sun light up the hills as it rose.

I climbed the hill on the other side of the water to look down on my camp

After packing up i headed south down the road to a spot near another tunnel and went up for a look.

I headed in for a look but its a curved tunnel and quite long so ran out of light to see where i was stepping and turned back the way i came in

Once back out i headed back to the Ute and headed home.
