Big Red Board

We were supposed to be having the Xmas party at Borumba Deer Farm but flooding had closed the roads so it was swapped to Kenilworth Homestead.
I was out past Ipswich when i discovered it was at Kenilworth so allowed mr Google to direct me there and it was a very scenic trip travelling along ridgetops through great scenery using single lane bitumen and even dirt tracks to get there but i quite enjoyed the drive and arrived with plenty of daylight left to pick a spot.







Had a good night catching up with old friends and really enjoyed the old style shower with its heavy water flow not like the newer water saving style.

We woke to a heavy fog so i went back to bed again.

I finally jumped out of bed and went for a walk around the camping area to see what was about.

Then it was time to pick up Santa and bring him down to the party.

















Then we had a truly awesome dinner and sat around chatting for the rest of the night.
Many thanks must go to all the helpers who made it such a wonderful weekend ... everyone there sure appreciates what you do for the club and the members !!

After morning tea I left the remaining members there and headed home stopping in at Kondallila Falls NP and walking the falls circuit.
