With all the recent rain and car repairs its been a while since camping so on Wednesday night i headed up to MT Coot-tha hoping to get a foggy sunrise over Brisbane City.
Unfortunately in the early hours the wind started so didn't get it.
Thursday Morning i headed out to Laidley to Narda Lagoon Reserve and camped on the south east side of the causeway opposite the Museum.
The other side of the creek was closed off due to boggy conditions when it flooded over.
I wandered over the road to have a look at the Laidley Pioneer Village and Museum.
Even got asked for the first time "I presume you have a seniors discount" ... poor lady was a bit embarrassed when i said yes but it was the first time anyone had ever asked me ... lol
About lunch time i moved on to Lake Clarendon ... last time i was here there was no water at all but this time it was 59.7% full.
Was going to walk the wall until i found out its 4.2 Km long !! [but only 13 metres deep when full.]
