After leaving The Tip I followed a rough track out to Evans Bay and drove up the beach to a peninsular for a look

I drove out along the Five Beaches Run then took the rough rocky track down on to Narau Beach and checked out the run south spotting something in a dark lagoon there ... upside down turtle maybe? wasn't getting any closer.

I headed back up to Nanthau Beach And set up my shower with the Milwaukee cordless waterpump, works a treat.
At the end of the beach is a sloping campsite so i dug out some previous wheel holes and set up camp under the shade there.

Sunday 21-8-22:
Not much of a sunrise this morning but the low sun lit up the campsite nicely.

I looked up the tides to see when the next Low would be and saw it was 3pm but that its lowest height was even higher than it was at the moment and since all the low low tides were at around 4 am there was no point waiting so headed over to the Graves beach and tackled the rocks to access the Sea Cave.

This tree is a survivor.

There is a Well and Windmill at the opposite end of the beach so I walked back to the Graves beach and continued on until I found it.
