South Coast Road Trip 14-5-22

Friday 27-5-22:

Stayed at my sister Deb's place last night so after she went to work i picked up some new fan belts for the Ute then hit the road out to have a look at Barfold Gorge ... that was a bust as its on private property so no access!

All was not lost as i passed through the small town of Redesdale which has an interesting Bluestone and Iron Bridge.

In town there is some murals on the reserves water tank.

I decided to take a different road back to town and spotted this which was a lucky find.

Saturday 28-5-22:

Just stayed at Debs today and relaxed by the fire in the patio.

Sunday 29-5-22:

Headed North to get away from the incoming Polar Winds with first stop at Denillequin.

I passed some late Xmas decorations on the way to Lake Cargelligo.

I took the Lachlan Valley Way to Condoblin, road was a bit muddy.
Spotted a Tortoise.
Camped at Gum Bend Lake on a muddy little side track away from the caravans and generators.

Monday 30-5-22:

I woke to rain and wind, pretty miserable weather but i drove into town and followed a wide load to the "Utes in the Paddock" and braved the conditions to get some pics.
