Sunday 14-8-22:
I lazed around waiting for everyone to leave but a few stayed so I back tracked a bit and headed out to Delhunty Falls for a look passing several cars coming out.

I drove on to the water gauge station for a look then returned back through Delhunty River and then headed out to the junction of Bertie and Delhunty.

Coming back out I called in where the Landy boys were camped and after a chat I continued on and crossed the Bertie Creek.

Chelandeley creek was easy then heading along the heathlands the side angle got a bit hairy for a while.

When I arrived at Gunshot I followed the left line and dropped into the mud then drove around the corner and up the wombat holes to the camping area where I parked up.
The winch copped a gutful of mud but I didn’t look like getting stuck.

A couple of guys heading south winched out and continued on then several more cars headed north and dropped into gunshot as no one told them about the other line.

It was good entertainment watching the splash entry, the water over the bonnet and the recoveries.

I set up camp in the trees along with about a dozen others but I had a spot surrounded by trees and I’m not sure if I can get out again … lol.

When i was crossing the water at the Lagoon i didn't check it as its always been very shallow so i was just idling along in first high when i entered ... water went straight up over the bonnet but luckily it chugged out the other side OK

The bridge has carked it at Sailors Creek so i went round through the water OK
