After crossing the border into SA I stopped at Naracoorte Caves and checked out "Stick-Tomato" cave

I then joined a guided tour of "Alexandra" Cave.

I Heard that the Southern Lights might put on a display so i Hightailed it due south through Mt Gambier until i hit the beach and found a quiet spot with a view to the south and made camp there at Port MacDonnell.

It was pretty amazing to see the colour this far North until the clouds rolled in.

26-3-23:
Red sunrise for a brief time then it rained lightly most of the day.
I headed out to the most Southerly Point of South Australia at Cape Northumberland then drove out to Picanniny Ponds and spent some time fixing up the access through the creek on to the beach for tomorrows low tide.
