Around Aus week 10, 30-8-24 TO 5-9-24

This week i started out at Sullivan creek Campground in Gregory NP where i camped beside a waterhole and spotted a dead Freshie while having a swim ... not sure what killed it of if there was any Salties around.

I headed to Joes Creek and did a walk up to the escarpment to see the Aboriginal Paintings and views ... not sure about the one than looks like a man sitting on a rock or egg with a woman and dingo or kangaroo. The radiator looking thing i see a lot all over the place but can't figure out what its meant to be.

Not sure if that last ones a woman or a frog.

Next up I fuelled up at Timber Creek then headed south into Gregory NP stopping at Limestone Gorge, strolling around Bullita Homestead then travelled the track between the Boabs.

I pulled up at Fish Hole and made came for a couple of days beside the fairly shallow water near the crossing.

Its strange to see burnt trees in the middle of a river.



I headed out of the park and camped near the Stuart Hwy.



After a big day of driving i pulled up at Camooweal Billabong for some rest and repairs... the fuel tank fell out.
