Kinkuna Camping Zone Burrum Coast NP 14-8-20

Just north of Woodgate in the Burrum Coast National Park is the Kinkuna Camping zone consisting of several kilometres of natural beach front.
I arrived at 21:30 and just set up camp at the first spot i found.

The day started out nicely and i got my first look at my campsite

I drove south to the broad white sands of the Theodolite Creek river mouth across from Woodgate

I then drove up to the northern end of the beach to Coonarr Creek and checked out some of the large protected sites behind the frontal dunes before heading back to my camp for lunch.






The wind came up and sandblasted me so i headed off to my next camp at Wongi Waterholes.
