No Camping at that spot so i headed west then south to Blond Bay Hunting Reserve.
The track out to Waddy point was through swamps and i had to be extremely precise to fit the big patrol through without slipping off the high point of the ruts and dropping wheels into deep muddy ruts on either side ... had to balance the big girl with tyres hanging over the water on both sides at once on slippery sloping high points .... made it out ok then found the Mossies were intolerable and had to back track ... rear wheel slipped of at the last bit but i was over it by then so didnt get stuck, Whew! no pics as i was too busy steering through the swamps.

Drove up to Wattle Point next to the Jetty and stayed there. sat in the back to relax and wait for sundown and woke up hours later ... ooops.

Not far out of Sale is the historic Swing Bridge that pivots in the middle.

I made my way down to Golden Beach and found a site just behind the dune on 90 mile Beach and set up there.

Saturday 21-5-22:

I decided to have a Stay Day which seemed like an even better idea when i woke and found it was 8°C cold and the sea mist was obscuring the sun.
I watched a few movies and finally dragged myself out into the sun at 13:30 to have some lunch.
Three other camper trailers had set up in the dark last night occupying each corner of the rectangular camp area.
i chopped some wood for a fire this arvo and went for a walk finding the sand was freezing cold in the shade.
After watching the submarine races i headed back to camp and relaxed in the sun reading a book for the rest of the arvo until the chill encouraged me to light the fire as the sun got low.
Was pleasant sitting round the campfire eating dinner before going back to the comfort and warmth of my swag.

Yarram had an interesting old Butter Factory and an awesome mural across the road.
