South Coast Road Trip 14-5-22

What looked like bird crap on the rocks from a distance was actually Intertidal Tubeworm Colonies.

Just near the rocks i spotted a tunnel in the headland.

I headed back to MissRed and hit the road South again

[Big Red]

This time round the road up to Telegraph Saddle was open so I drove as far South as you can on the Australian Mainland.

I walked out to South Point in 2012 ... what a mission! ... not doing that again so heres one i prepared earlier.



I then drove down to the Tidal River Campground and set up camp.

I had a bit of a wander around Tidal River before getting some washing done and cooking dinner then settled down to process some pics.

Tuesday 24-5-22:

Started the ute and noticed the odometer reading ... missed by 2.



Did the walk around the boardwalk and across the bridge then out to Pillar Point

I walked back via the Lilly Pilly Track .

I left Wilsons Promontory and headed to Walkerville North for a look passing a funny sign.
Walking along the beach i spotted a structure and went to have a look, turned out to be Lime Kilns.
