I headed back to Walkerville South and explored a bit finding a tunnel cave through the headland.

Wednesday 25-5-22:

I woke to a severe fog so there wasn't much point hanging around and hit the road as soon as i'd made my coffee.
I headed to Venus Bay but cant get a view of the ocean or the bay as both sides of the road are private property and the road is lined by thick Ti Trees so i drove back out to Tarwin Lower and spotted this enormous table next to the boat ramp.

I drove on to "Flat Rock" but could only find some raised rocks so kept on going to "The Caves"
The flat rock here has a pattern like Dinosaur skin in places which is appropriate as this area was where the first Dinosaur bones were discovered in Australia.

Around the corner of the headland is the Caves, one had water in it which looked deceptively shallow so i didn't get inside that one.

Next i headed to the headland in the distance called "Eagles Nest", the Lookout was useless, too many bushes and too far away from the edge to see anything.

Luckily it was low tide so i took the long stairway down to the beach and walked out on to the headlands rockshelf.
