Heading North from Brisbane 29-6-2022

There were a few random parking spots off the road so i checked one of them and it gave access to the river to watch/help the canoes.

There are the remains of Cardstone village which has been removed after the power station was done, it is slowly being engulfed by Mother Nature.

I drove the 9 km 4wd track to Cochable Creek camping area but the gate is locked so after a look around i headed back.

I was almost back at Tully before i found a camp at Jenna Creek.

I ordered a new tyre then headed up to Alligators Nest for a squizz.

After forking out $511.50 for a new tyre and $304.02 for diesel i headed out towards Mission Beach stopping in at Licuala for a couple of walks.

I then headed out to South Mission Beach to check it out.

Thursday 21-7-22:

Awoke to another overcast day and headed to Mission Beach for a look

I drove to Mena Falls and stopped there for some pics of and from the Swinging Bridge and falls with some pics of Paronella Park from the outside while waiting for the park to open.

I wandered down to the bottom of the falls and grabbed a few more pics.
