Travelling up Cape York 1-8-22

I continued North stopping at the old Line crossing where you could see the old WWII bridge remains.



I drove out to the old Vehicle crossing but the sand is extremely soft so a bit to hazardous to try.

I found a nice spot to camp and had the place to myself for a couple of days..

Wednesday 17-8-22:
I just relaxed around camp mostly.

I had a bit of entertainment when a bike tour floated several bikes across from my camp to the other side of the vehicle crossing.

Peace returned to my idyllic spot.

Thursday 18-8-22:
There was a nice Mist over the Jardine when I prepared to cross it so i set the tyre pressures and headed for the ferry.....

I headed over to the WWII plane wrecks

I headed to Bamaga to restock but the shopping centre was crowded so i headed over to Siesa to shop then found a spot on the waterfront to catch up on uploading pics etc.
