I drove on finding roadworks and a creek crossing with lots of heavy machinery so I dare say the Bog will be fixed up soon.

The Pascoe River entrance was a few hundred metres of washed out boulders meandering down the steep hillside to the waters edge, once again I had no clutch [it had started working for a short while after I had cooled it in the bog] but the water was only just to the bonnet and slow flowing so I had not drama in the water then started the rough rocky climb out the other side.
After the initial hard bit at the bottom it got easy until the washed out, although smaller, boulders near the very top then it was an easy run to the end of the track where I turned left in to bitumen and headed for Lockhart.

As I slowed for the Brown Creek Crossing I heard a pop and a hiss so I quickly reversed back and pulled into a camp spot right beside the water, a hex headed roofing screw had punctured the tyre so I grabbed out the tyre plugs and fixed it before deciding it was a nice spot to camp and went for a swim to clean up then spent the afternoon processing videos and pics in between swims.

I had the place to my self until just after dark when another camper pulled in to the upper level.

Before checking MissRed for damage i checked out the area and found a proper flushing dunny ... of course you have to bring your own bucket of water to flush it but it works great.

Sunday 11-9-22:
Heading East i stopped at the remains of the old WWII bridge.

I headed to Cooks Hut Camp, no sign of a hut but there was a dunny so the trip was not wasted.
I then drove out to Lockhart River communities as there should be internet out there but even though there was 4 bars of 3G the data flow was truly horrible so I just let people know I was OK and checked out Quintel Beach

I drove out a couple of other tracks but they were closed to access so I had a look at Chilli Beach then headed back to Brown Creek Crossing and made camp there again.

Monday 12-9-22:

I headed southwest to a newish campground near Wenlock station ruins which has now got new buildings and runway, the campground was very uninteresting apart from the hot water system.

I hit the main road south to Coen and camping up just near the bridge.
Clutch was playing up again so I parked and went swimming instead of going shopping.
