I headed back to the Ute for a coffee then headed up to Bauhinia Cave, a self guided cave.
the entrance was steep down until it rounded a corner and i turned my headlight on to be greeted by a wide slippery steeply sloped rock slab.
I couldn't see any footholds so elected to simply slide down on my bum into the depths then it was downhill through the low tunnel to a larger room in total darkness.

Its amazing these spiders can see their prey in total darkness, mainly those flightless cockroaches.

Then it was time to find a way back up the rockslab and exit the cave. made it with a lot of effort and sweat expended.

After lunch i headed out to the Mungana site.



Firstly i headed to the Archways site.

Next i headed back to the Art Site.













Then headed back to my little camp spot to swim and process pics.

Wednesday 28-9-22:
Headed East again this morning passing some interesting rock during the roadworks then turned off at Petford and took a dirt road to Herberton.
