A slight detour to the Rock Art was the only respite from the blazing sun as the whole area has been burnt off and I had no shade until Little Mertens Falls.

The Rock Art at Little Mertens Falls is numerous so after a heap of pics I carefully picked my way out to an extremely slippery rock slab that the waterfall was hitting and luxuriated in a nice shower/massage before making way up to the top of the falls for more pics then finished the rest of the walk back to Jeff at our Camp site.
Had a nice bit of steak for Dinner before heading to bed fairly early.

Saturday 4th August
A leisurely start saw us packed and on the move about an hour after dawn as we had a big day ahead.
First up was the drive out to Surveyors Pool which has two waterfalls flowing in to a large round pool surrounded on three sides by tall vertical cliffs.
I climbed down into the pool for a few pics then found a quicker way out up the cliff face then climbed down to the bottom of the small falls and had a dip under the water there into a small cave beneath the overhang.
Jeff had spent the time in one of the spa pools up the top and was just about to head back when I climbed back out.

We headed back to the main road and I spotted a two metre long skinny dark coloured snake with a small head across the road in front of the car, it very quickly doubled back and disappeared off the side of the road before I could get a pic.
We headed further out the road to Walsh Point on Port Warrender which has a bright milky blue ocean to add to the view.
We had lunch there and then started the long rocky slow track back up to the Wandadjingan Lookout where the road improves dramatically.

We made good time back to Munurra #2 Art Site where we had a walk around the eroded rock ridge out on flat plain with numerous overhangs and artwork, Jeff spotted a couple of the skinny dark coloured snakes about a metre long, one I saw was again too quick for me to get a pic.
I'm thinking these snakes were Black-Headed Pythons.

We headed down to Munurra #1 Art Site which has similar terrain but has one instance of a different Art style than the other site.
